PRODUCT COORDINATOR

The successful candidate will be extremely organized and technically proficient in Excel, Illustrator and working with pdf documents. Must have fabric and trim knowledge and be familiar in garment construction. Will work with artsist and product managers on production packages. Knowledge of Wal-Mart requirements a plus.

TRIM/ACCESSORY SOURCING AGENT
Successful candidate will coordinate trims/accessories and embroideries for sourcing. Will send packages with color/quality standards to suppliers overseas for development. Will maintain trim library in PLM. Will keep customer safety requirements updated. Will organize and update trim library, issuing new item numbers for all developments. Will send trims out for safety requirement testing.

Knowledge of children’s safety requirements and 1- 2 years experience in trim/accessory development a plus.

PRODUCT MANAGER

Successful candidate will work with seasonal line plan; research and develop fabrics, trims and accessories; work with designer to establish core colors and prints.  Will travel overseas with new samples and initial product packages to arrange for showroom samples. Will spearhead initial costing process and develop fabrics and trims arranging for timely availability of sample fabrics and trims.  Will assist with approval process for fabric and trim for production.  Will maintain fabric and trim library and act as liaison between sales and production.  Will clarify factory inquiries of product package details for sampling, costing and production and ensure costs are researched and distributed to sales.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years experience as a product manager

Design background with an eye for color

Experience with prints a plus

Knowledge of prints and yarn dyes

Childrenswear experience is a plus
